A slender and elegant evergreen conifer that adds vertical interest and year-round beauty to garden landscapes. As a hedge, 'Degroot’s Spire' Arborvitae provides a lush backdrop to the garden throughout the year. Ideal for formal spaces and small gardens, this cultivar will slowly grow into a green wall or living fence, as seen around the sitting walls in Catalpa Court at Stoneleigh. The vertical nature of the plant and its short stature also make it an ideal candidate for a solo specimen, especially in a small space.

Wildlife Value: This cultivar has not been evaluated for wildlife value, but birds and small mammals are able to make use of this dwarf cultivar for cover and sites to perch.
