Following its namesake candy pink flowers, the emerging foliage detonates into hundreds of fiery hot comets of burgundy and chartreuse in spring and early summer. The overall effect is unique and striking and has made this selection a highly sought after addition to the landscape. We are already completely crazy about redbuds, but this one is just a head above the rest.
