'Maryland Dwarf' American Holly is a quirky, native evergreen that grows into an unusual and beautiful 3' by 10' mound. It features attractive red berries from early fall to late winter and has lustrous, emerald green foliage. The spiny leaves are highly ornamental and remain dark green throughout the winter, making it an excellent all-season ground cover, foundation plant, or low-lying shrub.
