We're not usually ones to gush, but we just can’t get over the beauty of Eastern Redbuds and the ‘Burgundy Hearts’ selection is among the best! In the spring, you’ll be delighted by an abundance of small lavender-pink flowers clustering together on the bare branches, following by the emergence of deep purple, heart-shaped leaves. Come summer, the lovely leaves retain their dramatic red-purple color for nearly the entire season before turning to a lovely shade of yellow in the fall. This selection makes for a theatrical specimen in the garden that stuns with three seasons of interest.
