With its larger-than-life proportions, Glade Mallow seems to have emerged straight from the pages of a fantasy novel. Enormous leaves the size of serving platters pop from the ground in spring, growing quickly and tremendously in size, developing deep lobes reminiscent of some of our favorite giant tropicals. Robust, straight stems rise from the masses of colossal leaves as summer arrives, adorning themselves in clusters of small, fragrant white flowers. In an epic duel among our native perennials, there are few that could best Glade Mallow for sheer grandiosity.
