Cranberry is a low growing, vine-like ground cover typically seen in wet, boggy, and peaty conditions like those of certain wild places in Cape Cod and the Pine Barrens. This phenomenal tiny evergreen reaches about 6 inches in height and has small glossy leaves that turn a variety of colors throughout the season. The flowers are often called craneberries, as the flowers resemble a crane with fuchsia pink flowers that bloom May to June.

Conditions: Full sun

Size: 6" tall

Zone: 3 - 7

Wildlife Value: Flowers attract bumblebees and pollen specialist bees; fruits support birds and mammals
