If you are looking to add a pollinator magnet to your garden, look no further than Virginia Mountain Mint. We have yet to find another group of perennials that attracts more of our beloved, winged pollinator friends than mountain mint. Clusters of tiny white flowers arrive in July and are held aloft sturdy upright stems. When crushed, the leaves and stems release a beautiful mint aroma, enjoyed by humans but hated by deer. Plant this next to a path to take advantage of the added sensory sensation.

Conditions: Full to part sun; moist to wet soil
Size: 2'-3' tall
Zone: 3 - 7
Wildlife Value: Flowers highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and pollinating flies and wasps
