This offering is a division of a wild collected batch of seeds from a population in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Beautiful fern like foliage texture gives way to white topped blooms in late summer and fall. Deadheading will encourage additional blooms, though the near-black seedheads are also attractive in their own right. Found at Stoneleigh punctuating the Muhlenbergia berm near the Pool House and also merrily skipping down the northern section of the path to Catalpa Court.
