Jazz up your winter garden with a punch of bright yellow. ‘Magical Citronella’ shines in the fall and winter with golden, berry-laden branches. Its boughs can be cut and used in floral arrangements or holiday displays. But be sure to leave some for the birds who use the berries for a winter food source. It’s also a beautiful addition to your garden in the spring when small, greenish-white flowers bloom and attract a variety of small bees. Because this winterberry shrub is a female, make sure there’s a male close by to guarantee the best fruit production.
