Named for the daughter of plant enthusiasts Barb and Michael Bridges, we can only imagine this plant embodies all that Claire Grace was as a child – short and sweet, tough and fun-loving, charming, and imbued with a special something to offer the world. Growing smaller and more robust than the straight species, this selection was rated very highly in Mt. Cuba Center’s Monarda trial, demonstrating an especially long bloom period and good resistance to that pesky powdery mildew.
